Appear In The Film
We want your short testimony
Deadline: August 2, 2026
Here’s what you need to do:
Record yourself (landscape - not portrait).
Tip: Quiet place, good light, be close to the microphone, if it’s your phone, wipe the lens so it’s bright and clear
Follow a script like this:
I’m ______ from ______ and Jesus rescued me too.
I was _______ (name problem / addiction / situation) but now ________.
I’m not who I was. Jesus gave me a new life, and he’ll do that for you, too.
Example:
I'm Jane Smith from Houston, Texas and Jesus rescued me, too.
I was addicted to heroin for seven years, but I've been clean and sober since 2019.
I'm not who I was. Jesus gave me a new life, and he'll do that for you, too.
Example:
I'm Ted Blank from the band Dry Horses and Jesus rescued me, too.
I was dead in my sin, living only for myself, but I've become a new man - Jesus gave me a new life, and he'll do that for you, too.

If you want to add another line, please feel free to record any or all of these - they are some we want to cut together:
Jesus doesn’t make bad people good, he brings dead people to life.
God loves you. Yes, you, watching this. He loves YOU.
God sees you. God knows your pain, and He’s the one who can change everything.
This story isn’t just about Kyle. It's about me, too. And maybe you?
If you’ve been hurt by the church or by Christians, know that it wasn’t God who did that.
It was people, who make mistakes, just like me and you have. Don’t give up on God.
He hasn’t given up on you.
Why are we doing this?
Near the end of the film, there’s going to be a scene where a whole bunch of people share micro-testimonies.
Here’s why - this is on one hand a story about me and what God has done in my life, but it would be the worst if someone watched it and said, “Good for you, Kyle, God wouldn’t do that for me.”
To combat that line of thinking, we want to show a whole bunch of people who have been redeemed by Jesus, and I want you to be one of those people.
